MAF - Mass Air flow sensor

Just read up on this particular part. I did not know it can change various things in the engine. I am driving a 95 GXE Maxima. I may have somehow got some dirty or something in the the sensor plug ins. This might be why I am getting a tranny issue plus a throttle issue. As I drive under normal conditions, the throttle stays open until I take my foot off the accelerator or let up off the gas pedel, and then the transmission shifts smoothly. This MAF can lead to a load of problems that might be solved with a good cleaning of the connections or a replacemet of the MAF. I will update shortly if the cleaning or replacement works.
