Sorry guys, but i have a seafoam question I need an answer ASAP!!! Thanks

I bought 2 bottles. I already put 1/2 bottle into the pcv vac line and the other half into the gas tank. I am getting an oil change on friday and was wondering if i should pour 1/3 pint into teh crank case, to clean it some for the next two days. Supposedly it should be really dirty when it the oil comes out. I read that the plugs will get dirty too. Am I gonna have to replace/clean the plugs too if i throw the crankcase? is it worth it to put into the crank case? the car has 52k miles Thanks ALL

Yes, you are ok to put the SeaFoam in the crankcase. I ran mine for about ~350 miles before I changed my oil. Good stuff that SeaFoam.

it'll be fine, someone got a response from the company who makes seafoam, ther ewas a thread about it, they claimed it was okay to pour half the can into the crankcase without having to immediately change the oil. they said if it was the entire can in the crankcase, they recommended to change the oil after a 100 miles or so.

Thanks guys. I am still a little worried about oil leaks. But I did switch the oil to synthetic at 40K and everything went fine- no leaks But I dont want a horror story to develope and get an oil leak. But I also read that the oil leaks happen when you use it on a car that was neglected and has carbon so bad that it becomes THE seal. But I really dont think thats the case with my car. I guess I will do it. I;m taking a trip to philly this weekend it it will be fun to let her out on the highway.

clean up whatever it contacts with. basically washes out the carbonation contents in the system. also in vaccum fluid control pipes, it eliminates the air bubbles.

Okay guys, I just got back from putting the can of seafoam into the crankcase. I notice now that the car does NOT Idle as smoothly, in fact the car feels a little jerky at the lights, when you ride the brake, the car trembles.(not the same symptom I was describing in my coil pack thread-This is totally different- the car "shivers". I assuming that it is doing so b/c it needs to mix with the oil and all the crap is getting cleaned and ready to be drained out on friday. I just took it for a 10 minute spirited run on the highway and it pulled like CRAZY! But I hope that it smoothes out when I change the oil. Could it be that it is trembling b/c now the oil is not as thick being that i put a pint of it in the crankcase?
