Taking out headlights

about a year ago a friend of mine installed HID's in my car. He had to take out the headlight housing in order to find room to put the hardware. At any rate, I do not have HID's anymore and have since gone back to stock. I rewired but the hardware is still in there. I want it out. I know I need to take out the corner lights and grill, but i need to get the WHOLE black casings out, because the hardware resides underneith. SO I Dont think that I need to start messing with the silver clips. Can somebody tell me how to get them out? I checked the how too's but it is not clear. How are the BLACK casings held into the car? My friend is no longer around. Thanks

If it's the same as 95/96 mounting which I believe it is, there are two 8mm nuts close to the radiator side of the light on the back and two more 8mm bolts on the other side of the headlight on the side you should see them when you remove the corner light hope that helps good luck.

Becuase I could not get over the glare. Yes they were bright, but The output was all over the place. I was tired of it.

Not to sound mean but did you even bother to pop the hood and try to see what is needed to take them out or did you think to yourself, **** this, I'll just ask on the org?

No offense taken. It's just that I am at work, brainstorming and not really working on what I should be, and it just kinda was a brainfart. I kinda take things apart in my head and visualize it, so when I can't get to my car, I look to the org. I would much rather be day dreaming about the max than doing something constructive for "the man" hehe
