Idling issue-

Just out of curiosity, whenever I let off the clutch, the idling bounces below the 750 idle as if it were going to stall, but then it bounces back up to its normal idle speed.

Now before I got this car, I testdrove a MTX '00 Maxima and it did the exact same thing when it would idle.. common or not an issue?

Thanks.

when you let the clutch out you engage the clutch disk which then makes the output shaft and gears spin at engine speed which puts a small strain on the motor causing the idle to drop for a split second. the ecu immediately compensates for this extra load. this will happen when the car is in neatral and the clutch is released.
