Camber kit necessary?

I just got my WS y-pipe installed (It's so awesome! ), and I asked the guy about installing my illumina struts/springs when they come in. He did an estimate of $350ish for installation all the struts and springs, with an alignment. He said I should really get a camber kit, he made it sound really necessary.

How necessary is it? How many of you all did it when you replaced struts/springs? Hmmmm.

Btw, am I getting jipped for the installation? He charged $105 for my ypipe today also. He does a really good job though, at least I know everything was done correctly.

Thanks,
Dan

You do not need a camber kit with the Tokico Kit. Have your mechanic pull the max amount of positive camber from the play in the bolt holes when he assembles your front suspension. Then have the toe set at an alignment shop and you should be well within factory spec.

I do spring/strut installations for $125 bucks. Takes me about 1-1/2 hours. An alignment goes from around $50. 125+50=175. $350 sounds a lil high, it's really not a difficult job and shouldn't take a good mechanic more then 2 hrs to do.
