I get about 420 miles per tank on 80% highway, 20% local; How about you? I have the same question. Some guys get 450 miiles.

HOLY CRAP 420 - 450 miles !!! I get about 380 miles per tank with mixed city/highway about evenly. And that's driving like grandma and actually trying to get the best mileage possible.

Air filter. O2's (they'd trip the CEL though). Tire pressure. How bad is bad? What octane you use?

Thats really bad gas mileage. You should be mid 300's with that kind of driving.

I have a 95 with 165k and I was getting 15mpg (bad considering I can get that on my94 Bronco with a 5.8 motor and 35" tires) Found a bad knock sensor and jumped it out with a 470k resister and that got me 20mpg(highway). Last night I replaced my 2 front O2 sensors and it made a big difference. Don't know the milage yet but I drove about 100 miles today and the guage barley moved. I was getting codes for fuel trim and never got a code for the O2 sensor. When I pulled them out they where plugged. If you have high miles try changing them it can't hurt.

I haven't replaced my fuel filter or plugs for i don't know how long, but with intake and y-pipe the worse I've avg'd in the past year is 22 mpg, that's all city. If it's all highway I'm above 400.

I checked last week and got 20mpg. I'd say I never went more than 30% throttle even once the whole time I was testing the gas mileage. I have changed the following in the past:

sparg plugs (7k miles ago)
knock sensor (30k miles ago)
fuel filter (5k miles ago)
rear o2 sensor (3k miles ago)

I've never changed the pcv valve or the front 2 o2 sensors. Is changing the pcv valve part of a 60k tune up?

I also have a cel for evap solenoid. What can that do?
