I'm looking to buy a Apexi WS cat-back exhaust. Currently, I have a universal Focuz exhaust along with a WSP y-pipe and a PR CAI. With that setup, my car is pretty loud. What really gets me is when I'm just cruising along, like under 2k rpms., there is this very annoying droning noise. Will the Apexi WS cat-back exhaust quiet things down a bit? I just want to make sure that it will quiet things down for me a bit; eliminate that droning noise especially. And I think that getting this cat-back exhaust, it should give me a bit more power too?

 

I currently have a apex WS and it sounds pretty nice. I was so surprised how quiet it was. It does give a performance boost also.

 

Isn't there a silencer that you can buy for the Apex?

 

I have the WS...and it's VERY quiet...much quieter than I expected. It does have a LITTLE...and I mean VERY LITTLE drone under 2K...but it's barely noticable...and when I open it up, all I hear is my intake. You would really like it. Plus I think it looks a lot nicer than most of the other aftermarket exhausts out there. Just my .02

Thanks. From what you said, the WS exhaust does seem like a good choice for me. Especially, I noticed you have a CAI and y-pipe too. I just want something that's not too loud, yet still provide the sound of an aftermarket exhaust tone. And hopefully, it can provide a bit more power too.

 

with the y-pipe is will be a little loud.. its a nice sound.. much quiter than other set-ups..

 

just a little bit, but if you have the stereo on...even low volume, you can't hear the exhaust. By 75-80 the wind noise drowns out the exhaust.
