start problem

start problem

hey guys i have start problem
ok when i start the car sometimes the rpm drops very low and it is about to die. what you guys think the problem is?
i thought maybe i need a fuel pump, i got 97k on it and i bought it at about 86k. i dont know if the last person changed anything

clean out throttle body, maybe use some seafoam for the engine, and clean up the car's emission with seafoam. should probably help alot.

Get a Haynes manual and test you ECTS (engine coolant temperature sensor) to make sure it is within spec.

Clean your IACV while you are cleaning out the TB.

Clean up the things mentioned above. Could be time for a tuneup (not sure when you did it last) or it could be the MAF sensor dying

Also don't forget to clean out your MAF that gets gunked up at times too.

check the ECTS, "clean the tb" must be the universal fix for anything wrong with the car.

i dont know if this is any help but it only does this after its shut off for a long time about 9hr
