newb..with a question

What's up fellas. First off I'm a Honda tech i work in a dealership here in Los Angeles and hondas are my favorite. But my wife went out and bought a beautiful "super black" 98 5-speed SE. At first I was pissed, but After I took it for a test drive I fell in love with the torque and power of the VQ engine. i'm still a Honda fan but I can respect this car and I like it. Any how the car only had 70,000 miles on it and now it's approching the 90,000 mile mark. Other than the starter I've had no major problems with the car but since we're almost at 100,000 miles I was wondering if there is any thing major coming up that I should be aware of. Also can some one post a site or give me the specs of this car(i.e hp and torque numbers) And finally where can I buy a FACTORY service manual?? thanx guys.

*(when I first got under the car and saw the "beam" I laughed my *** off. But that damn thing sure makes the car solid in turns. Guess it aint so bad)

Stock 4th gen has 190hp and 205tq, good for high 14's with a good driver.

Welcome to the org

for 100K nothing too major to worry about in terms on tune up, maybe timing should get some looking at. . . ? not too sure I think its around 100K it should be looked at.

The timing chain should never need adjustment unless there is something specifically wrong, it's not a normal wear and tear item. In fact I've never heard of a 4th gen needing any work done to the timing mechanism.

At 90k you should do all the general 30k maintenance that all car's get. You should also check the plugs as they are supposed to be changed every 60k, but may not have been
