I'm buying a 99 max SE A4 with 125,000 miles. The agreed price is $6.5K.
The car has been a couple of fender-benders - the left fender was replaced and rear bumper was repainted - all looked like a good job to me. The car has aftermarket exhaust and 17 inch wheels, no other mods. The car seems to run fine. I'm going to a nissan dealer and do the pre-purchase inspection.
Is it a good deal? Is there anything specific I should watch out for during inspection?

Well, 6.5K is about the tradein value of this car. Is there anything alarming about high milage? I thought that since the engine has chain it should last a long time.

well for 6.5K you can find better deals than a car with 125k miles...just keep searching. I'm not saying high miles is a bad thing, but I personally think that price is a little too high for that many miles.
