getting rid of the burger

ok,
based on all your advice i've decided to get rid of the hamburger.
i live in rhode island and it is about 60 degrees out. should i wait until it gets warmer? and do i just use a hairdryer and someone said fishing wire to get it off. is the spot where it was going to match? let me know.

If I take it off and decide I don't like it, can I put it back on? I also need to know this because the "C" fell off of my mom's Chrysler van. Lucky for us, it fell off in the garage and not on the road.
