Removing Headlight Assembly
This week, I'm going to make my own eyebrows with some black stickers that are also used to make decals. Does anyone have instructions or know off hand how to remove the headlight assembly on my '99 Maxima? I would prefer to remove them so that I can do a better job. Thanks.
Breathtaking detail

Remove nuts and bolts securing headlamps. Then remove left and right headlamps.

Here is a word-for-word copy of everything the '99 Maxima factory service manual says on this subject.

Does anyone else know how to remove them?
Re: Re: Breathtaking detail
Actually that's pretty much all you have to do to remove them. If you have one of those socket wrenches with the universal joint (the one that can turn at angles), it'll make it easier to remove the two nuts holding the headlight unit in because there isn't much space to work with behind it. Just unhook all the headlight bulb wiring, look for the two nuts that are on the back side of the headlight unit, unscrew them (be very careful not to drop the screws into the engine compartment because you'll need them to put the headlight back!), and then carefully pull on it slowly till it comes out. That's pretty much it! easy
