I got the indiglo guages and am in the process of installing them according to the instructions from maximadriver.com
I ran into a little problem/question. The maxdriver.com says use the power from the dim switch to power the indiglo guages. The instructions that came with the guages which are not specific for maximas, say in big letters, DO NOT USE THE POWER FROM THE DIM SWITCH or it might burn the guages. The guages come with its own dimmer... so can anyone please tell me what i should do? The instructions that came with it, say use the power from the parking lights, but i have no idea if i should, or in that case, where it is!

Use the dimmer switch.

On the dimmer, there are a couple of wire. One of them is blue with some color stripes on it. Use that wire.

 

Thanks, thats what i did and it works, except now i have a problem with the Tach arrow, it jerks, not smooth, any ideas?

Eh ... any power source should be okay ... if you haven't blown anything yet ... it should be okay. Hehehehe... I just used the wire from the dimmer because I could tuck the wires up neater that way and because that's what the directions said on MaximaDriver.com
