Use of 97-99 springs in a 95 ????
My 95 SE springs appear to have weakened over time. I've read here at Maxima.org that the 95 springs are weaker than ones produced for later model years. This week I'm switching out my 95 SE 15" rims for the 97 SE 16" rims. I suspect, I'll be replacing my springs with Nissan OEM's next (I want to keep the stock ride) I've noticed my ride feels less supported and softer. I replaced all struts/shocks with Tokicos. I can't imagine the softness of the ride is due to Tokicos since they produce the OEM's used in the Mixima. My questions are:
1. How do I know if my springs need replacement?
2. Should I get 97-99 OEM springs instead of 95 springs?
3. Are they interchageable with the 95 springs?
4. Has anyone put springs from a 97-99 in a 95?
