Alternate Spot for Gauges

Hey guys, I'm going to be doing some stuff to my interior. Part of it is to install A/F and oil pressure gauges, however, I don't want to put them on the pillar due to me not wanting them to be so visible from outside and becuause i want to make it as clean as possible. I was wondering if anyone has information on that DIN-sized plate to put your gauges in the storage slot under the radio? Does someone make them or is it a custom job?

I have no problem doing it myself, but I just thought it was weird that I hadn't seen that many (if any) cars on the org with their gauges under the radio.

And yes I looked in the Electrical/Audio Forum and its Sticky and found nothing. Thanx in advance.

free bump.

I know when I go FI (most likely turbo), I would want to guages on the pilar not for other to see that I have extra guages, but because its more at a proper eye level with the road, and I wouldnt have to look down and maybe twist my head to try and read the guages.

try making the gauges for the pillar closer to the dash board?....ummm not sure if that is clear....get the pillar gauages and some how modify them so that they are closer to the dash but still on your pillar?....maybe that will help.

I see what you guys are saying, but what I'm trying to do is to keep my interior as clean an install as possible, I want everything to just blend in with the rest of the interior. So I would preffer not to have this mini gauge cluster on the pillar.
When I'm racing (or just playing with a car of the lesser kind... Hondas) for example, I don't really look at my gauges. I just listen for when my engine is almost by redline and shift. I know I look at the speedo at the top of 3rd gear (when the race is pretty much done), so I really don't need them to be at eye level, since I probably won't be looking at them during those things anyways. But if I hear, or if something doesn't feel right, I can look down and check out the guages. But that's just me.
Anyways, no one has said if this is a custom plate that it made or if someone sells it.... please
