Possible structural problem with 95 Maxima's

I found this link that states there could be a defect with 1995 Maxima's only where in a severe accident you could be seriously injured due to the defect. The problem was corrected with 1996+ Maxima's. Seemed interesting, thought you guys might want to read about it.

interesting...but it dont stops me from drivin my 95.. good info though...

Thats why there so light i wish i bought a 95 now instead of my 96

I easy fix that would make it alot stronger is injecting foam into the sills this is what im doing this spring.

i think i should buy a 95, get into a head on colision break a few bones and come out rich as hell!

I would guess some subframe braces would help out in this type of situation.

I don't think this is much of a problem....cause I have a friend that used to have a 95 and he slammed into 1 car front on at 60, then a car in the oncoming intersection T-boned him....and about 40....and he walked away without a scratch...., he mentioned the others car (one a honda accord and the other a buick lesabre) were tin canned...and almost inrecognizable....both to those drivers had minor injuries...

so I think the 95 maxima is a pretty safe automobile...
