But youre just installing it now. You cant really tell if it is top notch or not yet. But true it is my opinion plus many, many others. Sorry if I offended you.

How can you give your opinion if you dont even own one?
Have you even seen one in person?
You just going by hearsay.
Yes, its as fragile as fiberglass, but the overall quality is top notch. Fitment is good and the clear coat is perfect. The finish on the lip and kit is better then on my hood.
Kits are for looks. There not ment to be tuff. Only the Stillen kit is really durable, but even that kit if bumped or scraped will ruin the paint and finish.
If you cannot be carefull with a kit, you shouldnt get one, CF,fiberglass or poly.

I do or did own one. In fact, I owned two, after my first one cracked on me from a alittle speed bump at school, I practically had to give the second one away with all the chips from pebbles and miniature rocks on the freeway.

Chips? Ive had my lip on for quite a while, I was the first to purchase it. I drive with it everyday. I have no chips in it at all.
You hit a speed bump and it was destroyed? How low are you?
Ive had mine bumped against a curb when the installers of my tint were parking it.
It scratched the h#ll out of the lip abd put small stress cracks on the sides. They sanded all the scratches out and refinished it and now you cant even tell.
You make it sound as if you the lip touches anything, it will be ruined. I agree, it is not as durable as Ploy and as fragile as FG but I wouldnt say its totally wimpy or crappy quality.
Youve already owned two of them?
Why didnt you ever post pics when people were asking for them?
I wouldve liked to see how it looked on your car.

Yea, didnt own a camera at the time. I wouldve love to have taken some photos. But it was either coilovers or digital camera. Guess which one I chose. My car was slammed to the ground for about a day but the lip wasnt on yet. My front end is just too heavy. Plus about 9 months ago, my district decided to spend a few million dollars on some stupid project to connect my part of the city to downtown on railroad tracks. And the street had 2 foot pot holes since.

No, I went to this shop in Milpitas. Two Max owners had placed an order for the lip and I placed one too, kind of a group buy thing, for $275 to the door. One guy left a deposit but never came to pick up. After a few weeks, i went back for other parts, they said they had another lip available and gave me a good price on the spot.

I was going to get the Carbon Fiber lip... but I realized the way roads are here in NYC, theres no way its going to last a week. Even driving normally with my drop I have to dodge potholes left and right... I would hate to hit a dip and run over that thing.
