I noticed today that the car is starting to make this slight metallic gurgling sound when I innitially press the accelerator. Any idea of what this might be. Doesn't sound all that nice but it's not too the point where it's loud and obnoxious sounding. Not really sure if grounding out on a speedbump the other day has something to do with this new found sound. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

 

You should get under the car and do a damage assessment. There is a likely cause-and-effect between the speedbump experience and this new sound. Look at the entire exhaust system, with special attention to the woven flexible portion of the Y-pipe.
