***PICS POSTED***D2 coilovers installed on 4th gen (I30t)....review

Anyone considering these should grab em while they are still pretty cheap...Had them installed by custom shop and aligned (of course)...The shop guy said "these are some of the nicest coilovers he's seen", passed em around so everyone could check em out...Anyway,, install was simple and fit was perfect.. He lowered the front and back about 2.33in, and set the damper at its lowest setting...on the road, looking good, and feeling good.. car handles 10x better than stock, ride is a little stiff, but not bad at all...gonna play with the dampening settings a bit,, they are 36 way adjustable btw....As long as they prove to be durable, I am 100% pleased with my 900 dollar purchase...

wow that drop is just...

so with coilovers can you have a low drop and still have a soft ride? like you would have the look of sprints with the ride of H&R's?

i could actually go lower with these// but doing research,, i didnt want to go any lower..its about 2.3 dropped now..hasnt settled yet if its gonna...the ride of course is not a caddilac..but i love it so far..i have the front settings on the softest 1 outa 36 and the rears about 16 outa 36. road feel is markedly higher,, steering and handling is incredible..a little bouncier than before,, but not bad at all...i havent felt the other spring/strut combos in person..

Why did you go with such a soft setting on the front and yet the back are almost halfway on the stiffer settings. With such a drop and soft setting on the front, do you car bottom out?

I have JIC's on my car and the roads here are not that great. I have my front and back set at 8. The ride is much better than my previous setup which was H&R and KYB AGX (even when i set it on the softest setting) I can slam my car way lower but with my bodykit, i can't get out of my steep garage without ruin it..
