FYI: stock muffler will bolt onto Cattman bpipe
I just put the stock muffler back on. To my surprise, it fits the Cattman bpipe without any modification. I was ready to do some modification if necessary. One thing though, now the muffler sits a bit back. It sits about an inch behind the rear bumper. That's ok with me. Just want to let you guys know if you're thinking about going with the Cattman bpipe with the stock muffler. I'm doing this because of sound. As you know, I'm going for a sleeper look. And the aftermarket look and sound of the Cattman muffler just throw that off. If you guys heard the video I made the Cattman catback sounded really nice, not ricey at all. Again, I'm doing this to keep a sleeper look. Nothing against the Cattman muffler at all. I still feel the gains of the Cattman bpipe, but now it's much quieter. With this, I know I will surprise a few people who might think I'm just another stock Maxima....hehe. The Cattman muffler will be for sale soon. I will take some pics of it first.

I thought the stock muffler was a bit restrictive. I'm considering a cat back system myself to round out the intake and y-pipe that's on there already. The only thing I'm worried about with the cat back is the sound. I don't want it sounding obnoxious. If the gains are good just from the b pipe, I just may do what you're doing.

What restrictive is the bpipe section for the most part.
Btw, it's not totally silent. There's still a slight rumble to it, but it's very subtle. If I could do it over again, I would just keep the stock muffler and get a custom resonated bpipe from a muffler shop. It's much cheaper too.
