Ok i know this subject has been beaten to death but i dont have the search function so i have to ask
I just read the how-tos and manual and now i know how to change the headlights.....easier than i thought as it requires no reaiming

So now to the part i couldnt find anywhere in the FAQ's or how tos
What do u guys reccomend as a subustitute for my stock bulbs
i plan to stick to the 9004 bulbs
but what do you use?(ie, PIAA, SILVERSTARS, anything else you find worthy of mentioning) also theres NO way that any of these could melt anything right?

dont stick with 9004's, cut slits in the plastic below the bulb. thenmake youreslf a new harness like JSutter did. forget these coolwhite bulbs. they dont have much visiblity. its best to just use halogen 9007's. the 9004/9007 harness if used with stock wattage bulbs will hold fine, so will the silverstars and such. wen you use overwatted bulb, thats cause for concern about the harness.
