Skyline Headlight Mod

i am about to order the Skyline R34 headlights because the guy at my body shop is really good with fiberglass and said he can install these headlights on my car and paired with my 8000k HID system i think they would look immaculate he also said he could do the tailight conversion but just the headlights alone cost 850 so i told him i would wait for the tails... has anyone done this to a maxima yet?? ive seen an integra with both light mods and a skyline kit and it looked like a baby skyline...

i haven't seen anyone do that with R34 headlights. Someone did a 5th gen headlight conversion, cefiro headlamps, and i think R32 headlamps. It would look pretty sick if your guy can do a good install job.

it would look sick!!

I dont see why it wouldnt work, we wire up all kinds of new HID, and projectors, and then people putting the 5th Gen headlights on the 4th gen, the Skyline should work good, I would love to see how that looks.

go for it!

I was going to do the R32 Headlight conversion but had to cut the grill among other things so that went out the window since my grill is part of my front bumper, this is what it would've looked like:

I have the R34 Taillights on my I30, but i have the cirfo's headlights. I was going to do the R34 headlights but i disided not to, i like the cefiro lights it gives it that flavor, i also have a custome blackwidow bodykit. I have the pic on my sig but it seems it does not work.

The 5th gen lights on the 4th gen looks awesome!
I didn't think it was possible. Since the only thing I liked on the 5th gen were the headlights, I'm thinking about fusing those on my 4th gen.

Are there extra things that need to be bought/installed (ie. wiring harness) to install 5th gen headlights on the 4th gen? Who owns that car with the 5th gen headlights?

Oh God. I really don't like that 5th Gen headlight conversion. It looks horrible.

I am a HUGE FAN of my S4 headlights.

i would take the r34 headlights over the 5th gen, because the r34 look a little smaller and not so crammed in there as the 5th gen headlights do...plus the r34 headlights make the car look vicious! i am acutally considering selling my cefiro's and do this r34 headlight converison.

Maybe ill take the Maxima emblem off the back and put the SKYLINE chrome letters on it..lol if i had the money i would really consider putting the engine in one of our cars but that would cost $$$$ Skyline V6TT is king

man that sounds good, why don't you get the headlights off ebay i always see them on there. As for the taillights that's going to look good as i have them on my I30. later today i'll post pics. there is going to be alot of work to put those lights in the back but it pays off. I also have a custome kit. I say do it the reaction you get from people is crazy.

I believe its possible because I've seen pics of it(It was in a sig of a member that doesn't post much or at all anymore) but I don't believe you have them until I see pics. Prove me wrong cause I really wanna use a pic like that as my wallpaper.

Nitpick: It's an inline-6, but yes - it's a wicked engine.

I think that'll look a lot better in black. Not a huge fan of gold rims though.

I love black too, that is why i'm going back to it. I used to have my car black, I also might powder coat the rims black but i don't know thogh cuz i don't really like black on black, so that is why i'm going gold.

I think some gunmetal would look hot on black, but it's your car, go for it.

I don't know if that hood would fit, my guess is that it probbly doesn't fit cuz my grill is connected to my hood. I only paid for parts, I used to work at a body shop so we worked on it on are extra time.
