97-99 Clarion double DIN head unit (non-Bose)

I don't have a bose stereo, but i want to have the double DIN that looks just like the Bose head unit. There are several on ebay from Pathfinders and Altimas that look just like it, will these work in my Max?

You will want to get one from an Altima to make sure it has the power antenna up signal. Pathfinder does not have the power antenna option, so it may or may not work. Other than that, it is plug and play.

The premium non-bose stereo in Maximas was also a double din (97-99) models.. .you could get one of those too...

They should fit in the dash. Try looking for one form a maxima.
That's what I have in mine. I Just added 2 amps and a sub and replaced the factory speakers. Sounds pretty good.

I have a 2k1 Xterra radio in my 97 maxima gxe, with stationary antenna mast. I can't verify the antenna thing, but if you want you can put the antenna trigger to the 12v switched power wire and it'll be as good, but when you play cd the antenna will still be up.

6cds in dash is wonderful. Add that it looks stock, and nobody even thinks of stealing it. Yay!
