Front Axels gone bad? :(...help

hey,... juss got my car checked up...my front axels have gone bad...i was wondering if i can buy them anywhere else rather than teh bodyshop?

if you're mechanically inclined and have the urge to you could always just get some reconditioned ones for pretty cheap (around $110 with the core charge) and change them out yourself.

thanks...gave me a good price. $300ish shipped for the front two. the guy at the body shop told me $450. ne idea how much installation is?

I have no idea how much installation will cost you but try and do it yourself. I replaced my front passenger axle and the only thing that gave me trouble was the nut on the end of the axle. I had to pay a shop tech $10 to break it loose for me but it was a piece of cake after that. Try it yourself first before paying an arm and a leg to have it done for you.
