LEDs in Gauges

LEDs in Gauges

i know this is probably an age old question but with the 96s arnt there leds that just swap right in? I cant find what bulb number goes in the guages.

The 6 bulbs in th egauge cluster are 194's, just replaced mine with blue ones i bought from Pep Boys.

just normal bulbs? I heard that some type of LED can just swap into mine. Humm

Yes , there are LED's that replace "standard" 194's, they are called Single LED Wedge Base Bulbs and can be found on superbrightleds.com . I just replaced mine with "normal/standard" blue 194's and they look great.

I don't know what you did with the 6th one, but for 95-96 maximas there are only 5 LED 194 bulbs needed... (for 97-99 there are 6)

You can get them from superbrightleds.com, that's where I got my 4-LED per bulb 194s and I really like them!

but will they give off "hotspots or will it be evenly spread i want the leds but im scared of it soming out nasty lookin

I didn't want hotspots either which is why I ordered these from superbrightleds.com Once I get them and put them in I'll post pics if you like. Of course they have other colors than green.

get the wedge shaped leds from superbrightleds.com, no hot spots, i have done it
