i've been thinkin about getting superwhite bulbs for all the lights in my interior, except the gauges and window switches and stuff. the owners manual doesnt even mention what type of bulb fits, it only mentions the wattage. does anyone know where i can find out the correct bulb type for the following lights??

Map Light: M26 (????)
Door Lights: M4 (194/168 type)
Dome light: ???????
Sunvisor's mirror Lights: ???????
Glovebox Light (where owners manual goes): ????????
trunk light: ???

thanks in advance. time to rice up the interior

Map Light - Just a funny little bulb, sorry, I have seen it in "mood" colors at AutoZone

Door Lights - 194's

Dome Light - Festoon bulb... just measure it's length, diameter appears to be standard and get one that matches in size

Sunvisors - Haven't looked.

Glovebox - 194

Trunk light - 194

194's can replace 168 and 158. All that changes is the filament structure inside and slightly on brightness.

How about the lights under the buttons on my Bose head unit? The little light under the "CD" and "am/fm" button are out. What kind of light do I need, where can I buy them, and how do I take the faceplate off the radio to replace them?

Thanks,

GregS

Under your Bose headunit are very tiny light bulbs, smaller than a pencil eraser, about the size of a 3mm LED. I doubt you'd be able to buy them alone anywhere but below is a write-up on how to disassemble your entire Bose headunit. This is the write-up I used when I changed the bulbs in Bose headunit to LED's. Below is a pic, the red circled ones are the stock bulbs for comparison. It was not a direct swap, they had to be soldered onto the board with resistors.
