Pacesetter Exhaust?

Hey, whats up everyone. My friend just bought a pace setter exhaust for his 87 crx and it sounds pretty nice. I was thinkin bout gettin a pacesetter for my 95 maxima GXE. Anyone heard anything good bout the pacesetter on a maxima?

pacesetter is a decent budget exhaust...I remember in the old days I'd get pacesetter exhaust tips for my cars from the auto parts store...good times, good times...

I have heard it in person and its very quiet, it was just the cat back stock y pipe. It looks decent. He didnt have the yellow tip. It almost looks like a Stillen muffler painted black. If you buy it, strip it and repaint it with hi temp paint.

I put a Pacesetter Monza cat-back ($131.00 ebay) on my '98. I highly agree to strip and repaint. I recoated mine with Ceramichrome (JetHot/HPC). Very quiet compared to most. I bought a Stone Mt. y-pipe yesterday ($91.00 ebay) hope not to affect the tone too much.....

I was just advised by a fellow "orger" that because my max is a "cali spec" ....the y-pipe will not fit. I emailed the seller (Stone Mt)...awaiting a reply

K, sounds like lots of people have problems with the pacesetter... What about the Apexi WS cat back. Im looking for something thats deep and a little loud... and i hear that at high RPMS the WS sounds pretty nice. I do drive an automatic tho and it usually shifts pretty quickly...

Those of you that have the Apexi WS. Are you pleased with the sound of the exhaust? Do you have any sound clips?

Will the Greddy system fit a 95 maxima GXE??? I would like that more then the apexi... but it looks like the greddy is only for the SE trim.
