Vq30det Swap

Does anyone know of anyone who has installed a vq30det motor into a 97-99 maxima.

you can't vq30det is for rwd cars. You can use parts from that engine, but thats about it

then go for it, while you are at it might as well throw in an RB26DETT and make your Maxima AWD. All it takes is money. right?

I heard there was a guy in Texas that had a VG30deTT in his 4thgen converted to RWD and was issued in a Magazine I forgot what.

ok all you have to do is unbold the tranny and bolt the vq30 tranny, am I right or what? Nissans v4 trannys are all compatable, there v6 ones are all compatable, and so on, somepeople on the sr20 forums bolted a sr20 to a sentra tranny, forgot who but my sentra buddy, (my crew lead) was tellin me about it, didnt believe it untill I read the thread tho.
