Need a quiter Muffler

Ok I bought an obx catback basicly just for the stainless pipes. Now I am looking to take off the obx muffler and replace it with something about 40% quieter. I want put stainless on since Ohio puts salt down in excess. I also want something closer to the stock size exhaust tip. 3" would be about the max and it has to be center inlet and outlet. Any help would be great.

A stock muffler is a good bet. Very quiet and only costs you about 2hp comapred to the fart can that came with your OBX.

I got a Magnaflow round 4 inches wide and 7 inches long pipe stainless steel street series, I don't remember the #; it is great really nice deep sound and not loud at all, paid $100 + 75 installation, fits perfect and you can leave it 1,2,3, inches sticking out of bumper, looks great too.

I stand by my Magnaflow muffler. It's nice and deep, not loud at all. My intake ends up being louder when I step on the pedal. The muffler is also stainless steel, for the price, you can't go wrong.

I have the Dynomax Super Turbo, and it sounds really nice. I don't need a resonator or anything. When idle, it's got a low growl to it, then when you get just below 3k rpms, you can hear it really growl. Past 3k rpms, it's got a nice tone to it.

i put on a stock and i couldn't be happier with the no noise. droning and any loud exhaust noise just gets old and annoying. quiet > everything.

I have a warpspeed y-pipe, budget b-pipe, and 5th gen muffler and it's pretty quiet. The only part of that setup I wouldn't recomend is the budget b-pipe.

id like to hear that without a resonator... i have it w/ a resonator and its almost loud enough, id figure without a resonator it'd be horrible... guess not?

I'd be glad to post a sound clip, only problem is that I don't have the tools to do so. I have a Warpspeed Y-pipe, and you know how it makes that semi-annoying buzzing sound with WOT? Well, that's gone, and now I get this growl. I like it a lot.

I got the resonated one and it's quiet, the fitment is just bad. It hangs low, and the bend isn't high enough. It bangs against the rear beam if I hit a big enough bump.
