i would think so, if it is a private seller than i would feel a bit better paying that much.

haha everyone says highway miles. that price is very good for around here. if you like the options and love the car, it still has plenty of life left if it was taken care of so do it up. goodluck

lotta questions -

how many miles on the clutch?
Had all major services done?
Does all the paint match (if not, its probably been in an accident, even if CarFax doesn't say so)? If you can't tell, feel the edges of the body panels, trunk/hood, and see if you can "feel" overspray. Most manufacturer assembly plants use machines and robots for precise painting - rarely ever can you feel "overspray". If any paint work was done by a human technician in a bodyshop, you can usually feel the "overspray".
How many miles on the tires?
When were the brake rotors replaced? Brake pads?
Does everything electrical still work properly?
Does the AC still blow cold.

Find any problems like these, lower the offer the amount it would take to replace/fix the item.

If the person tried to trade it into the dealership, they probably offered $100 bucks for it. Forget about what you've seen in any books (NADA, Black Book, Blue Book, whatever)...they don't buy cars - people do. Think about it - how many people are actually looking for a '95 Maxima with a manual transmission and 130,000 miles in NY, Penn, and NJ? Not too many. I don't even think a dealership in New York could even try to resell it because of Warranty laws.

Yeah Right! My car has 130,XXX miles and, I live and work in the city. "All the miles are highway miles."

Check and do the torture test. Check to see if there is any oil leak in the engine. Drive local and see if it could handle it. Ask two friend to go with you. It will put a load on the car. Turn on the A/C and test it out on the hwy. Open the hood up and see what's leaking.

As long as their is no major issue with the car then I would say it is a good deal. Original owner?
