so confused with o2 sensors.. damn you cali-spec!

99 gle with 88k. So I've been pulling a 0420 [0702] and a KS code along with it since 83k. I wanted to attempt the o2 before the knock to make sure it didn't trip the knock by accident. I bought a 3-pin o2 sensor [this was before i found out it was a calispec] off ebay. I look at oxygensensors.com and they have 3 and 4-pin o2 sensors. Which one would alleviate the 0420 [0702] code? Also, since I have this 3-pin sensor for a fed spec, if I were to use it for any other 3-pin connector in my cali-spec, would that create problems?

on top of all this, the cel won't come on anymore after 2k of driving. I can imagine the knock still being there, but shouldnt the o2 come back on after a couple hundred? I'm so confused, fedspecs got it easy
