I recently lubricated my window tracks for the first time with a common type silicon spray lubricant (from Home Depot)--and I didn't notice the windows going down any faster or easier...
I was just wondering if any of you guys who have any luck with using the silicon spray...

or any other type of things to make the windows go up and down faster? I notice that mine goes down okay and takes awhile to come up...

hmmm...
any ideas?

WD40...? no way, it going to eat up your rubber track (or at least make it crack)

For silicon spray, i think you need a specific type that will dry out and leave crystal like lubricant.

I have never had that problem out of all of the years I've used WD40. The silicon that is sold in the can is no better in than any other lube. If you want a longer lasting lubricant that will not attract dirt, graphite lube is the best way to go.
