Maxspeed Springs
Maxspeed Springs
As one orger reccomended the first mod i do to my max is springs. I looked on http://maxmods.dyndns.org/ for all the brands and i picked maxspeed beacuse of the cheep price. THen i found them on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVWmaxspeed spring ... Do you think these are a good choice? Are they hard to install?
Also i called several Auto Auction and private sellers sellin max's. I will hopefully go test drive one this week. Keep you posted.

hmm they seem nice. You think these are worth the extra $? http://www.shmotorsport.com/item140991.ctlg... HMMMMMM is that price per or all 4?
I don't know about other guys here, but the Maxspeeds are not great quality, the top coils hit each other on bumps and make noise, I had to put insulators all over them but they still are a bit clunky. For the price I don't think you can expect anything better, amd if little squeaks and clunks don't annoy you (I'm a bit **** about noises in the car) than they're def a good choice. Ride quality is improved very much over stock springs.
what about Eibach prokit or GC coilovers? anyone have these on their cars? and what struts are paired with them? I am thinking of lowering my 96 SE for the firsttime, and had good success with pro kits on my 92 SE-R

and with those obx and gc coilovers, you still have to buy struts even after paying for the coilovers. plus, like BlueC said, you're likely to get a really bad ride and lots of noise from them.
i'm riding on S.tech's right now and still haven't gotten annoyed with the ride quality
but definitely do not go with the coilover sleeves....those things are cheap and are not true coilovers, you'll just end up with blown shocks...my friend has a '04 2door accord and about four months ago he put on GC coilover sleeves(supposedly the best quality of all the sleeves) and he still blew his rear shocks.....but it really has to do with what roads you are on
i almost made the mistake of buying some WeaponR coilovers, but called back and cancelled my order before they could even ship
GET TEIN!!!!
