i hear that everyone is taking them out well i dont want them either then. Where are they, how many are there? oh yah heres something weird. if you go to the back of your car underneath it, opposite side of the muffler is there a little black box bolted to the car that serves no apparent reason? i dunno...

You have resonators in your intake tubing (the ribbed portions of the rubber) and in the exaust (that big round tube in your B-pipe. They serve to quite down your intake and exaust system. Removing them usually involves replacing them with something else, ie: CAI, aftermarket B-pipe, etc.

The stock B pipe (runs from the cat to the muffler)and some aftermarket b pipes have built-in resonators to keep things quiet. I don't know if there any performance benefits from not having one but if you have an aftermarket muffler I would think the noise would be unbearable. The GReddy exhaust is cat-back without a resonator.
