vinyl tape for the door trim

vinyl tape for the door trim

anybody know where to get this tape or know hoe to restore the color to original black... i got a new paint job but my trim looks like sh t it's ruining the look of the car

Get a heat gun and remove the vinyl! You will have original paint under there and it looks alot better the the vinyl sh#t. I did mine a couple weeks back and it looks awesome. Just make sure you have a heat gun cause it makes the job soooo much easier.

if your car is black you can just remove it and it will look like new. The door pillars are painted body color, so unless you painted your car a different color you could give that a try. I did that to mine and it looks pretty nice, but if I ever find the original vinyl tape, I will probably buy some.

are you guys talking about the black piece that is between the front and rear doors? cause mine have permanent finger prints all over them and i would love to get them off.

Yep, painted and clear coat under the stickers.

Like i stated above, make sure you use a heat gun. It is a real ***** to remove the glue without heating the hell out of it.

I'm pretty sure it's dealer only, but I imagine a (vinyl) graphics shop could take care of it.

actually i was also asking about the door trim pieces not just the piece in the midle..the dealer wants me to buy them for like 40-90 bucks a piece,,, hell no so i thought i can just cover them up with good vinyl tape if possible

and yea my car was deep evergreen b4 now it's black so the heat gun idea is not gonna work
