I checked MY ECU code
I checked MY ECU code
I am getting a cylinder 2 misfire.. I 've been reading in the stickys for answers but since I am such a non car person yet. I don't quite understand..
Can someone anyone help? I've noticed my car has been running a little funny especially 1st, 2nd gear... Does that have anything to do with it?

You probably have a bad ignition coil in cylinder 2.
1. Do you know if you have NGK plugs in there? If not, replace the plugs with NGKs
2. If you do have NGK plugs, then its most probably the cylinder 2 ignition coil. You can buy ignition coils online (jrnissanparts.com for example) for 50 bucks and put it in yourself in 10 mins.

The original plugs recommended for your car are the NGK platinums - you can get a set of 6 for about 50-60 bucks (website mentioned above). You can also run NGK coppers (V-power) - that run 2-3 bucks a piece. They seem to work as well, but have to be replaced every 30k whereas the platinum plugs can be used for 60k. The part number for the two plugs is:
NGK platinums: PFR5G-11
NGK Copper: BKR5E-11
You can use either - just follow the replacement interval guidelines.
