sprint springs not equally low

I dropped my max with sprint springs and the passanger front is lower than the driver front. Now the front is lower than the back but the driver rear is lower than the passanger rear. Actually there is still a 2 1/2 3 finger gap in passanger rear. Any1 know about why this is? I still have stock struts. I am also looking to either buy complete coilovers or illuminas with a coilover sleave or with new springs, I want performance with a little cushion. Thanks

How about, are you sure you are on level ground? Springs adjust to the ground, or else you'd have one tire up in the air.

well I still have the stock struts so they are old but I havent had any reason to think they are blown and yes it is on level ground. Tire pressure has been changed from low to high and gap stays pretty much the same. there is a little more than a 3 finger gap on the passanger rear and a 2 1/2 finger gap on the driver rear.

Chances are... your struts are already blown.. lol when I removed my SE struts to install my new ones they were already blown and I had never even put aftermarket springs.

When I first Lowered my car, I thought, "They all lie IM NOT GOING TO BLOW MY STRUTS, they are in perfect condition".... 4 days later, my car felt like a boat rocking on the San Fran Bay.
Then, I said, well ill just ride like this it cant be that bad, and yea...... you get used to it.
But then i finally bought KYBS, and wanted to shoot myself for being an idiot for a month and not buying struts. I could actually drive my car and take bends at 65 miles an hour. Theres no point on getting performance springs, if you dont get the performance shocks. You would be BETTER off leaving them stock if you dont get struts.

Just get shocks, good ones too KYB, or Illumina's... dont be cheap.
Eventually you will get them, so you might as well get them now and start enjoying your car sooner

?. may you installed them wrong.. is one upside down? and really now. get new struts. sprint of all springs will blow even brand new stock shocks in less than 6 months.

s0ber-- i like your max.. kinda reminds me of mine. cept you have the newer g35 wheels. they bend in a little more.

This is a little bit off topic, but did you have any fitment issues with the g35 wheels? A buddy of mine told me that they don't fit out maxima's. I love that wheel and want a set for my 97 max.

Did you make sure that the springs were seated properly on the mounts? If they are not turned just right on install, I suppose they could cause a slight height difference.

Yes you can install srings wrong is they are progressively wound ones, or if coilovers and you put the base in wrong, or the front and rear springs caps backwards...

May I use this whole quote and put it on maxmods? This is exactly what I've been looking for.
