Manual to Auto Climate Controls
So Im keeping my maxima after all, and im gonna do a few things to it. I was looking around on ebay and came up with an idea, dont know if i can do it... Can i take out the manual Heat-A/C controls and put an automatic climate control in its place?? I have a 99 SE-L.
the SE limited didn't come standard with auto climate control...?
i would think you could just swap the control panels though....even the "manual" control just plugs into a wiring harness...there's no mechanical linkages or anything like that. For that reason I'm guessing all the rest of the stuff is already in the dash except perhaps a temp sensor or something like that. But its your money and I am not offering any guarantee's either....let us know if it does work out.

FYI...this porject will cost upwards of $600 for new wiring and sensors....the bang for the buck is not that good....but as they say: details make the car!

alright.. nevermind then
of course im sure i have an SE-L... i dont think red was a common color in 99 unless you have an SE-L, I also dont think the old man that owned my car before would take the time to change all the badging and floor mats and wheels.
