Gas pedal gets stuck sometimes...

I'm not sure why, but it gets stuck sometimes. I have to tap it for it to let go. Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks for the help.

Clean out the throttle body....that will take care of it. Use intake cleaner, not carb cleaner... intake cleaner is safe for the coating on the TB.

Make the hose clamp around the inlet pipe on your throttle body isn't interferring with the throttle linkage.

Would the throttle cable have anything to do with this problem?

It could - but its much less likely to be your problem. Clean out the TB and check the cable linkage for obstructions as Dave suggested.
