Cracked Axle replacement

Cracked Axle replacement
Well, I changed my front rotors today with Brembo blanks and akebono pads, and first let me say that the pedal feels amazing now. But anyway, while doing this I discovered that my axle is cracked and must be replaced. I just have a couple of questions. Any websites that sell axles that are more inexpensive than looking for one around my way? Also, is there any difference in different types of axles? Thanks for the help in advance.
EDIT: I forgot my other question... Should I just go ahead and replace both front axles while I'm at it? or just wait for that one to go bad later?

You mean the axle connected to the CV joints in the front? If that's it, I would just do the whole CV joint and axle replacement in one shot. If I'm not mistaken the axle and CV assembly is around 60 bucks each after core swap for most parts stores.
If it's not, well then ignore me.

just check the package before getting it at autozone. i bought one axle from them with remanufactured status. after installing it i noticed a big gap in transmission and inner axle. those morons didnt put the tranny seal on it. anyways, i had to bang out the clip seal from my old axle and put it in place of new one.
