1998 GXE Headlight Adjustment

Car has been lowered and now my headlights need to be adjusted higher. I found the long rod coming out of the back of the light but could not turn it. Please advise on what is required to adjust those stinking lights.

it sounds like you what you tried to turn is the headlight adjustment....its a rod coming out of the back of the housing, with a little '****' on the end.....did you try turning it both ways?

I think it's an 8mm socket. Take out the corner light and you'll see it.

Go to a flat parking lot with a high wall and turn the **** with the 8mm socket until it's at the level you want.

I did turn the passenger side but part of the **** broke off. I will try the 8mm wrench and see what happens. Thanks for the advice. Drive it in a MAX....

If the **** broke off, I'd suggest a vice grip that you can grip on the metal rod and turn it that way.
