Automatic Climate control

None of my buttons (econ, auto def, ect) around the display light up in my car. Are they supposed to? Do I have a bulb burned out?

Definitely supposed to light up.

Here's a write up to do it in LED's.

And here's the LED group deal info.

The LED's are nice but right now I don't have time maybe in the future. But for quick and easy can I just replace the bulbs. Are they Nissan Specific or can I buy them anywhere

Twist the bulbs out, take off the rubber sleeve and take them to Radio Shack and get an equivalent bulb.

Take the new bulb, retwist back onto the base and put the rubber sleeve back on and twist back into your A/C controls.

Not sure if or how to get them from the dealer.

Hey Thanks. Just another thing to go on the list of repairs. I bought the car 2 months ago and I'm just trying to get it back like it came from the factory. But it may make sense to do the LED mod while I have it apart. I'm hoping to get my RSB and new struts in over the long weekend.(Had them in the trunk for a month now). The car was a little neglected when I bought it. So far I have Fixed all my oil leaks (Oil pessure switch, rear valve cover, and the front timing cover), a gas leak, replaced control arm bushings,O2 sensors, new gr2 struts and right side axel. I also installed some 2k2 17" wheels and profesionally buffed out the paint job. The car is coming out sweet and now runs perfect. In the next couple of months I'm going to replace the Exhaust (Y pipe back) and install a Motostorm pulley
My friends think I'm nuts for putting so much work into an old car but I LOVE my MAX
Thanks to everyone who has helped me on this site
Enjoy your Turkey Day

Best place I found to get these bulbs was jerryromenissan.com. $3.70 a piece; but it includes the little brown bases so you don't have to start taking bulbs apart.
