GReddy SP2 concern...

I just put on my GReddy SP2 catback system today. It looks and sounds great! I just have one concern. Right next to the part that conects to the catalytic converter, there's a hole in the pipe that looks like it was made for a sensor to be plugged in or something. The mechanic plugged it with something. Does anyone know what the hole is used for?

none... it sits flush with your bumper (its too long for the 95-96)... you only have to plug one bung... (there is 2) one for your car, and a faulty extra one that needs to be plugged...

Is Sport Compact Only the same as soutwest auto now. Also, the sp 2 lists on SCO as fitting the 97 max. Is that different than the sp 2 that is for the 95-96 max?

get a bung for it. I believe the size is M18x1.5. I think happy knows for sure.

FYI 97-98 (maybe some 99) have an O2 after the cat.

If you can get it for within $10 or so of SWAW then go with SWAW and support our sponsors! Cant' blame you for saving $20+ though

F*** meinekie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my gosh, they screwed my catback up!

they told me that they couldn't get my o2 sensor out so it'd be another $160 for the only one around town... i didn't want to pay so i had them chop the new b-pipe and weld it to the s-pipe (o2 curvey pipe) and now it hangs lower and looks like s... i know they lied because the next day i went to another exhaust shop and they took it off with ease!

THEN!!! meinekie put in the curved pipe backwards which made my tip hang way out and crooked from the cutout, and the pipe kept banging against the car...

ot i know... but it still makes me mad!!!

99 cali-spec has 4 O2 sensors, 2 on the y-pipe and 2 on the front header.

To my understanding GReddy now has an SP2 for the 97-99 Max's for sell and those don't need any modifications to it.
There is a GD $465.
