Thanks for the compliments guys. But remember, I didn't build this car, Hal did. I just bought it.

This car was built with a different philosophy than my car was. My car was built around basic bolt on power and handling/braking, this car was built around a big turbo for big power. My immediate plans for the car include adapting a stock exhaust with an electronic cutout so it retains the sleeper look but can be opened up on the fly to really put down some power. Later I plan to build a transmission along the lines of what Mardigras did with cyro treating, shot-peening, deburring and polising, and then do the suspension up with D2 coilovers, another stillen RSB (because I couldn't get mine off my car ) another set of subframe connectors if warpspeed still makes them, and another custom big brake kit hopefully utilizing AP 4 pot calipers and cobra or 2k4 maxima rotors in the front and I really want to do something in the rear too.

For those that asked the turbo is a 60.5mm wheel, with an .74 A/R compressor and .84 A/R turbine. The turbo is of a brand I haven't yet figured out, the little plaque riveted to the compressor housing just says "Turbocharger" on it, with no brand I can find. It also says model # T70, though I don't think that corresponds to Garrett/Turbonetics T70 turbos.

With Hal behind the wheel on 14.5psi and a 65 shot the car went 11.9 @ 124.9 with him babying it off the line and ONLY spraying in 4th gear.

On the dyno on what I recall as being 16.5psi (might have been lower but I think that is right) and 65 shot it put down 538whp and 603 ft/lb. Without spray on like 14psi I would estimate it puts down 420ish, but I could be off.

The color I was told is called Starfire Blue (I think that's what he said).

I dunno, this thing is going to take some getting used to, and also I need to get braver to turn up the boost and spray it at the same time, and it's got a smaller nitrous shot now than it did when he ran it. Also I tend to bang the gears pretty fast, so I need to be conscious of the tranny and keeping it in one piece.

I saw the rad when I looked at the pic again. I don't have AC and its no problem. But then I don't drive more than 8K a year and its below 80 11 months of the year up here. I always drive with the windows down anyway. All these extra things. I've seen this new technology that they are employing in the new Caddy seat coolers/heaters. It is a ceramic disc that can effectively cool the air 15 degrees. A bit more development and this technology will totaly replace a mechanical compressor. It also heats air instantly. It will have good applications for hybrid cars that don't always have hot and consistant coolant flow.

that is sick. I've never seen a the tubo mounted where the radiator was. I guess you dont have to relocate the battery which is cool.

Beautiful blue color, why the stock orange corners till? CC on that plus the sexy blue. MAN!

I want some boost.

I know that when we used to cruise around SoCal in that thing it was pretty damn quick, but the crappy brakes and suspension and tires scared me to death!
Delio's car had the suspension and brakes and it still scared the hell out of me.

There's no AC which will be no change for me because for the last 2 summers I had no AC in my old car, after a deer impact and I just never got the AC system recharged. It gets hot some times when its like 85-100 out but I drive with the windows open typically and I've figured out how to manipulate the maxima windows to get the most air blowing on me, so it's not that bad. More annoying to me about the no AC thing is the inability to quickly defog the windows. Brakes and suspension will be addressed early in the year and the car should be a well handling car come springtime, and good brakes shortly after I get the suspension sorted. The radiator is a double thickness custom aluminum radiator.

i am not expert but i am going to guess any 500whp car is going to be scary. i have been in some 300hp Evo's and that scared the **** out of me with good brakes and excellent handling. None the less all the best with the new can looking forward to seeing videos and time slips.
