Replacing hazard/defroster lights
Hey guys,
First off, I searched on this... Maybe I'm missing something? I did find a link to a write-up but it appears that it's been down for some time now...
I can't figure out how to replace the lights in my hazard and defroster switches. I was able to get the button out of the dash panel, but I can't seem to figure out how to take the buttons apart to get to the light.
Is it even possible to replace the light?
Thanks in advance...

Definitely possible.
Here's a quick overview.
Once you have the switches out, you'll notice two clips on either side of each. Gently pry them open and separate the switch into two pieces. The bulbs are mounted on a rubber base that just pulls off. Now solder an LED and resistor to the old contacts where the bulb was. Re-assemble carefully as space will be tight and enjoy.
