Well, if you go with a bluer bulb you will lose visibility.
If thats the way you wish to go, try Nokya Artic Whites. They put off a nice bluish tint, but be forwarned, the visibility is less and you should go with an aftermarket harness.
Ive used Piaa's extreme whites and they were comparable to the Silverstars.
The only real way to get a nice bluish tint is either HID's or Projectors.

Silverstar and cool blue bulbs don't put out a "blue tint" because they're street legal. You risk getting pulled over by having "bluer" bulbs. The HID route to my knowlege is the only legal option of making your headlights look "cool", but it will cost extra.

if you want true white, get some nokya arctic white stage II, id recommend an upgraded harness just incase though... i had them with the same fogs, and polargs all around and at night, everything matched perfectly...
although in the day time, you could see yellow in them, but at night they were white as can be...
but i went back to 9007 silverstars... and amber clearance and bumpers... with xtravision fogs... the more traditional look...

I liked the silverstars, just not in the rain...but that goes for all white/blue bulbs unless you go all out with HID's. Never had a problem with them burning out though, but I never had to use my headlights alot either.

Silverstar is good in the first 6 months, after that it turns yellow. A year later, your lightbulbs are number. Base on experience. Right now, I have some aftermarket bulb. Is greenish when turn on.
Any well known stores that carries nokya arctic white stage II? Autozone, Strauss, etc..
