97-99 front bumper fitting on 96 max???

Just had a quick question to ask... does the 97-99 maxima front bumper fit on the 96 max if you do no other mods to the car? Also does the bumper fit right on, where all the clips are located in the exact spots or do you have to drill and other stuff? Thanks.

Everything fits fine. There are two metal pieces that you have to pry off for the 97-99 bumper to fit. That's all.

You will have to use a 97-99 grill to avoid the gaps on the outer edges of the grill to the bumper. Other then that it all fits up fine.
You will have to do what Conrad283 about the two metal screw mounts. But you can pry them off with a screw driver with little force.
DO IT! Then you will be part of the conversion club.

If i order a bumper from them, what will I have to do? Get it prepped for painting and take it to the body shop?

To tell you the truth, your best bet would be to install it and have them paint it on the car so they can blend the paint in with the rest of the car.

If you convert you will no longer beable to use the 95-96 fogs so you can put your foglights here.....

Don't buy a bumper off of ebay. They'll destroy you with the shipping charges.

I bought my bumper from someone at a shop and they painted it for $100. So, the bumper without it being painted will cost over $100.

you've been on the org a while....do you not know of the for sale forum? a junkyard is also an ok place, i'd go new from www.jerryromenissan.com or on here. they go for too much on ebay. i plan on just selling my 95/96 fogs and using that money to buy the others since 95/96 fogs are more expensive.

Wouldn't you have to buy 1997-1999 foglights supports as well? How do they fit? Bolt up right no mods? My 1995 fog supports are twisted and look like **** (fogs don't align well with the holes).

Ok, If anyone has considered ordering from these people.. DON'T! I ordered my parts a few weeks ago and Still have not gotten them. Seems weird that its taking so long considering they are in Illinois. Then I recieved this Email.
Several Ebay members are filing complaints against Pershing Auto Body. If you have paid for an item but have not received it, received it damaged and can't get a refund or replacement, shipping was longer then stated in the ad or item misrepresented in ad, please go to the following web sites and file complaints: http://bbbtest.e-asp.net/(ekskviu4h5jgfpi2fkb2pszm)/Default.aspx - Better Business Bureau Web Site http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buying/mail.htm - Federal Trade Commission Law (Summary) http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp - FBI Internet Fraud Site https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01 - Federal Trade Commission Complaint Form An MSN group has been formed, if you are interested in joining, please contact bigbrowndog@adelphia.net. You will notice that Pershing has now made their feedback private so we don't know who has had problems and who hasn't. They have also lost their Square Trade Seal.
Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up Since I made the Recommendation.
Kevin.
