Knock sensor question

Knock sensor question
Hi!
I was wondering, if anybody have information on the sensitivity of knock sensors for 4-th and 5-th generations maximas and are they interchangeble.
I've bought the sensor for 2000-2002 maxima by mistake, installed it (very small mods), but am not sure if everything works as it suppose to.
Please, help somebody, ease of my mind)
Pavel.
P.S.: 5-th gen knock sensors are much chipper, worth investigating.

So it fit and plugged in without any problems ? Same size and harness plug ?
Did you check for the ECU code and see if 0304 is coming up ? If the code isn't there, it probably means the sensor is working right ?
How much cheaper did you find it for ? It seems to be similarly priced.

At nissan dillership I was told the price for 5-th gen maxima to be around 60 canadian dollars, I bought one for 50 us delivered from e-bay.
I did just minimal changes with a small file to the sensor, and it fit OK.
Didn't check the codes afterwords though.
The only question in mind, will it be sensitive enough to fill the knock?
