Need Help Changing the Knock Sensor

Ive read everything and tried changing the knock sensor 3 times already. Broke one of the universal joints that i had gotten. But if any1 would like to change my knock sensor for me i would appreciate it. Just let me know a price.

Did you use the joint with the built in socket (all one piece). I took mine off with the socket and the swivel adapter, 2 pieces total. I think it would have been alot easier to take off with the one that is one piece since it gives you a little more room.

use breaker bar

I had alot of trouble changing my ks too. I used 1/4 socket, and swivel, then adapted to 3/8 extension and breaker bar. this gave a little more strength. It was still really hard to break loose, but it did come loose

Keep trying it. Do it when it's cool. Once you get it loose stick your hand in there and remove to bolt with your hand. Don't pay for someone to do something that you can easily do.

Try duct taping the swivel socket to the KS bolt.

I didnt even use a swivel... I managed to get an extension with a socket in there somehow.. lol

But yeah, keep trying and take it slow... If you try to do it fast your gonna screw up. It takes a while the first time around.
