Does anyone know how I can find out if my car has limited slip differential? I checked the Faq section but there was nothing. Thanks

 

do a burn out if there is only one tire mark then you dont have it

Or.. Jack the front end of your car up, both tires off the ground, rotate one tire and watch the other tire, if they spin in the same direction then u do, if not then you dont.

All U.S. 4th gen 5 spd's did not come with LSD.

5spd I30's did

Canadian 5spd's did also.

 

I think the mechanic might have installed the wrong CV axle (w/o LSD) so your recommendations may not help in this instance. Is there a sticker or a sign somewhere on my car?

 

If you have a 1999 SE-L as your profile indicates, you do not have LSD.

Period.

Anyways, pop your hood, look on the left side on the firewall. You'll see a bunch of engraved codes, one will be your tranny code. If it has a V in it you have LSD. Otherwise no. And if you don't, I think you'll have an A in it.
